Job Title: Student Worker - Advising Student Office Assistant - BC Job Classification: Administrative and Office Services, Student Department: Robbins College of Health & Human Sciences Advising Hiring Manager: Norma Sheppard Contact: Work Schedule: Minimum 10 hours per week between the hours of 8am-5pm Desired Length of Employment: ongoing Pay Rate: $9.00/hr Key Components: In a student employee capacity, may perform or assist with similar functions of an administrative associate or office manager. Job Description: The Robbins College Advising Office is looking for the following skills & qualities in a work study student: · Reliability. Work-study students must be at work at their specified times. · Punctuality. Students must show up on time and leave at their designated time, not earlier. · Ability to follow directions. Active listening when instructions are given · Accuracy in work. · Pride in work. · Completion of assigned tasks in a reasonable amount of time. · Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude toward work. · Willingness to work. Ask if there is anything to be done rather than trying to avoid work. · Courtesy in answering the telephone or inquiries made in office by staff, students, visitors, etc. Always try to be of help. · Maintain CONFIDENTIALITY of the department.
