Student Worker - Psychology Student Worker Number of Openings: 1 Purpose/Objective of the Role:  The Psychology is seeking a reliable, friendly, and organized student worker to assist with front desk operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain professional experience in a dynamic academic environment. As a front desk assistant, you will be the first point of contact for students, faculty, and visitors, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the department.   Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist visitors, students, and faculty in a professional and courteous manner. Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel. Handle routine clerical tasks such as filing, copying, scanning, and data entry. Assist with event planning and coordination, including preparing materials and setting up rooms. Pick up and distribute mail and run errands as needed. Support departmental projects and perform other administrative tasks as assigned. Help with social media.   Qualifications: Must be a current student, preferably enrolled in the Psychology program. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new software. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous office or customer service experience is a plus, but not required. NOTE: Employment sponsorship is not available for this position.
