Description Seeking a Sr Project Manager with healthcare provider experience, strong PMO governance skills, and ideally Epic project experience. Candidates should be comfortable managing multiple large initiatives simultaneously while partnering with clinical, operational, technical, and executive stakeholders across the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead multiple concurrent healthcare technology projects from initiation through implementation. Manage Epic-related initiatives including optimization, enhancements, upgrades, implementations, and operational improvements. Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, governance documentation, and stakeholder communication plans. Coordinate activities across Epic teams, operational departments, clinical leadership, vendors, and IT stakeholders. Facilitate governance activities, executive status reporting, steering committee meetings, and project reviews. Manage project scope, risks, dependencies, resource allocation, and issue resolution. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to organizational goals. Support workflow improvements, user adoption, and change management efforts. Provide leadership and direction to project teams and workgroups across multiple initiatives. Partner with leadership to prioritize initiatives and support strategic technology transformation efforts. Experience leading enterprise-scale technology projects. Strong organizational and communication skills. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Highly Preferred Epic project experience. PMP certification. Academic Medical Center or large health system experience. Experience working in both business and technology-focused initiatives. Nice to Have Epic Refuel / Back-to-Foundation experience. Smartsheet experience. ServiceNow SPM experience. Change management experience. Experience Level Expert Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlottesville, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
