Description The Department of Otorhinolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of laryngeal, airway, esophageal and sleep disorders. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Candidates must be fellowship-trained in either laryngology or sleep medicine and be board certified or board eligible in their respective specialty. Teaching responsibilities may include medical student and resident education, as well as delivering formal lectures on an annual basis. Clinical responsibilities may include the medical and surgical management of patients with laryngeal, pharyngo-esophageal, airway, and sleep-related pathologies with clinical duties performed at Pennsylvania Hospital and the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center of Philadelphia (VAMC).
