Position:    Teacher  - English/Language Arts Evaluated by:  Principal/Assistant Principal Salary Range:   Professional_Salary_Schedule_Annual_2024.pdf (core-docs.s3.amazonaws.com)  based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule plus a competitive benefits package to include: PEIA insurance, retirement, life insurance, and free vision and dental insurance. Job Description:  The Middle School English/LA Teacher is assigned to deliver a comprehensive English program in accordance with state law and West Virginia Board of Education and county policies and regulations.   Qualifications:   Holds or qualifies for a West Virginia Professional or Temporary Teaching Certificate endorsed for English, English/language arts, or language arts at the grade levels applicable to this assignment (6-8). Length of Employment:  200 Days Responsibilities:   The Middle School English/Language Arts Teacher shall have the responsibilities and duties as outlined in the Putnam County Schools Job Description Handbook.
