About the role

Job Description: Essential   Job Duties and   Responsibilities:    Develop s   and oversees   comprehensive training   plans   tailored to the needs of production   team members.   Implement s   training programs that ensure all production employees are proficient in their roles and understand company procedures and safety protocols.   Regularly update s   training materials to reflect changes in production processes and industry best practices.   Provide s   ongoing training and development opportunities for existing production   team members, including refresher courses and skill enhancement programs.   Utilize s   a variety of training methods (e.g., hands-on training, workshops, e-learning) to cater to different learning   needs.   Collaborates with L&D and HR to track and update training completions, records, and certifications.   Assess es   the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance assessments.   Monitor s   and evaluate s   the performance of   the team   to ensure they meet established standards and metrics.   Identif ies   areas for improvement and implement s   corrective actions to enhance   training   team   performance and productivity.   Work s   closely with the Production Manager and other supervisors to identify training needs and develop strategies to address them.   Communicate s   effectively with all levels of   production   to ensure training goals are understood and achieved.   Foster s   a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.   Maintain s   accurate records of training activities, attendance, and assessments.   Prepare s   and submit s   reports on training outcomes and   team   performance to management.   Ensure s   compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements related to training and safety.     Education and Experience Requirements:    Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a   lead   or training role.   Experience in developing and delivering training programs for production   team members.   Associate ’ s degree in manufacturing, training and development or related field preferred.     Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:   Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and safety protocols.   Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate   a team.   Proven ability to develop effective training materials and programs.   Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.   Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess training needs and implement effective solutions.   Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.     Work Environment:   This position typically operates in a production or manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to loud noises, heavy machinery, and varying temperatures.   The role may require standing for extended periods and the ability to lift and move training materials or equipment.   Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate training schedules.   This role may require occasional travel to other production facilities or training locations.   Disclaimer:   Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
