Brookfield High School  is looking for excellent Long Term Teacher Sub for Special Education Location: Brookfield Public Schools -  Brookfield High School Position Type:   Long Term Sub. Start Date: 11/30/2026 Approximate length of assignment: 6 weeks Description:  Develop and implement individualized and small-group instruction aligned with students' IEP goals, state standards, and district curriculum. Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth, independence, and self-advocacy. Monitor student progress through ongoing assessment, data collection, and progress reporting, adjusting instruction and interventions as needed. Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies, assistive technology, and differentiated materials to meet diverse learning needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and administrators to support student achievement and successful inclusion. Implement positive behavior support strategies and maintain a structured classroom environment that fosters student engagement and success. Participate in IEP meetings, professional development activities, and school events as required. Qualified Candidates must have a valid CT Certification in the area which they apply.
