Spanish Teacher Key Responsibilities: Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate Spanish lessons and activities for young children Introduce Spanish vocabulary, phrases, songs, stories, games, and cultural experiences in a fun and interactive way Create a positive and encouraging environment that builds children's confidence and interest in learning Spanish Adapt lessons and activities to meet the developmental needs and interests of individual children Collaborate with Lead and Assistant Teachers to integrate Spanish into the classroom curriculum and daily routines Encourage children to participate through music, movement, conversation, storytelling, and hands-on activities Supervise children indoors and outdoors, ensuring their safety and well-being Foster an inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported and valued Communicate with teachers and families about children's participation and progress Organize and maintain engaging Spanish-language classroom materials and resources Maintain clean and inviting learning spaces while adhering to health and safety standards Support routine childcare tasks and contribute to a nurturing, high-quality learning environment What We Offer: Competitive hourly wage Medical insurance (health, dental, vision) Paid time off and holidays No nights, weekends, or holiday schedules Childcare reimbursement/discount Professional development and CDA tuition reimbursement Recognition programs A supportive and collaborative school community Opportunities to grow professionally while making a meaningful impact on young children's lives Qualifications: High school diploma required Fluency in Spanish required; native or near-native proficiency preferred Previous experience teaching Spanish or working with young children preferred Passion for early childhood education and language development Shows empathy, patience, and compassion for young children Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Energetic, creative, and enthusiastic approach to teaching Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, children, and families Ability to create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children If you’re an energetic, nurturing, and enthusiastic Spanish speaker looking for a supportive and fun workplace, join us!
