SLOT ASSISTANT SHIFT MANAGER

About the role

Position Summary: The Slot Assistant Shift Manager must assist in making decisions which affects the department, and has an effect on gaming revenue, guest service and Team Member relations. This position provides guidance, counseling, and support to subordinate Team Members, as well as promotes compliance with all applicable rules and regulations. Essential Functions: 1. Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide culture and demonstrating Graton Resort & Casino's Service Standards at all times. 2. Supervise, instruct, and evaluate slot service personnel in the proper performance of job duties. 3. Respond to and resolve guest disputes and complaints. 4. Perform minor repairs to gaming devices, including but not limited to cleaning jams, resetting machines, and verifying jackpots. 5. Accurately complete written department forms and records detailing payment of jackpots, cash/coin transactions, machine malfunctions, etc. in a timely manner. 6. Investigate and resolve discrepancies. 7. Prepare and implement work schedule in response to business demands. 8. Maintain secure key controls at all times. 9. Develop, apply and maintain a friendly, courteous rapport with guests and Team Members. 10. Effectively communicate by two-way radio. Qualifications Required Qualifications: 1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form. 2. High School Diploma or equivalent required. 3. Two (2) years of related management experience preferred. 4. Experience with slot system applications, including ticketing and slot accounting. 5. Proficient in software applications, such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Physical Requirements: 1. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols. 2. Ability to walk throughout slot floor for extended periods of time. 3. Ability to bend, kneel, reach, lift and sit. 4. Able to hear radio transmissions. Able to communicate clearly on radio. 5. Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment. Pay Rate $100,000 Annually
