# Technical Project Manager **Resolve Tech Solutions** ## Position Overview Resolve Tech Solutions is seeking an experienced **Technical Project Manager (TPM)** to lead the planning and delivery of complex technology initiatives across client and internal teams. This role sits at the intersection of **technology, business, and project execution**, requiring someone who can translate business objectives into actionable technical plans while keeping teams aligned, risks managed, and projects on track. The ideal candidate is a strong project leader who is comfortable working directly with engineers, architects, product teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and executive leadership. They do not need to be a hands-on developer, but they should have the technical fluency to understand system dependencies, integrations, data flows, environments, and implementation challenges. ## Key Responsibilities * Lead technology projects from initiation and requirements gathering through implementation, deployment, and post-launch support. * Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, timelines, resource requirements, dependencies, and delivery roadmaps. * Partner with engineering, architecture, product, QA, infrastructure, security, and business teams to coordinate project execution. * Translate business requirements and objectives into clear technical requirements, deliverables, and workstreams. * Facilitate technical discussions and ensure decisions, dependencies, assumptions, and action items are documented and communicated. * Proactively identify project risks, technical blockers, scope changes, and resource constraints and drive them toward resolution. * Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, priorities, and stakeholder expectations. * Track project health using measurable KPIs and provide clear status reporting to leadership and client stakeholders. * Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and release planning when applicable. * Coordinate testing, deployment readiness, production releases, and implementation activities across technical teams. * Manage third-party vendors and technology partners when required. * Establish strong project governance, documentation standards, escalation processes, and communication rhythms. * Drive accountability across cross-functional teams while maintaining positive and productive working relationships. * Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve project delivery processes, tools, and methodologies. ## Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. * **5+ years of project or program management experience**, including experience leading technology-focused initiatives. * Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and technical dependencies. * Strong understanding of the **software development lifecycle (SDLC)** and Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies. * Ability to communicate effectively with both highly technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders. * Experience managing project schedules, scope, risks, issues, dependencies, resources, and executive-level reporting. * Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. * Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as **Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar platforms**. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. ## Preferred Qualifications * PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or similar project/program management certification. * Experience working within a technology consulting, professional services, or managed services environment. * Familiarity with **cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud**. * Experience managing application development, cloud migration, systems integration, infrastructure, data, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology projects. * Understanding of APIs, system integrations, databases, cloud architecture, DevOps, CI/CD, and release management concepts. * Experience working with distributed, offshore, or globally dispersed technical teams. * Experience managing client-facing implementations and executive stakeholders. ## What Success Looks Like A successful Technical Project Manager at Resolve Tech Solutions brings structure to complex technical initiatives without creating unnecessary process.
