We're looking for a Senior Core & Applications Developer to join our Core Processor Application Development team. This role is critical in supporting and enhancing our core banking environment, leading complex development initiatives, mentoring fellow developers, and helping drive the future of our technology landscape. While this role does not have direct reports, you'll provide guidance to other developers, participate in code reviews, share best practices, and help elevate the overall capabilities of the team. • A Partner Across the Organization! You'll collaborate closely with business units, vendors, and technical teams to deliver projects that support strategic business initiatives and improve operational efficiency. • Passionate About Building the Future! What We're Looking For • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Development, Systems Analysis, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Minimum of 4 years of programming experience with strong knowledge of systems design and computer operations. • Extensive experience with Symitar Episys is strongly preferred. • Experience developing with: ◦ PowerOn Programming Language ◦ SymConnect / SymXchange ◦ SymForm PDF ◦ HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, and XML • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and application support. • Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments is highly preferred. • Knowledge of AIX/UNIX environments is a plus. • Experience with C++, Perl, PHP, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages is beneficial. • ITIL certification is a plus.
