Job DetailsJob Location: Shorewood Clinic - Shorewood, IL 60404Position Type: Part Time EveningsEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $27.00 - $28.00 HourlyJob Shift: Part Time: 3 PM - 7 PMJob Category: Applied Behavior Analysis / ABAPosition Summary: The Project Hope RBT is responsible for the direct implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming with clients at Westside Children’s Therapy, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Providing predominantly play-based therapy, the Project Hope RBT will support Westside clients in the development of a wide variety of skills. The Project Hope RBT exclusively provides services during evening and weekend hours.   Essential Functions: Implement direct therapy services for assigned clients and caseload, following programming written by BCBA Engage with BCBA during regular supervision sessions to ask questions and receive feedback Collect and record data on patients behavior Complete and submit required documentation (SOAP notes, etc) in a timely manner, aligned with Westside's policies and procedures  Develop strong relationships with the children on your caseload and strive to make every session a fun experience QualificationsRequired Education, Experience and Credentials: High school diploma or equivalent Active RBT certification upon start Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proactive problem-solver who works effectively with minimal supervision Strong verbal and written communication skills Competence with a variety of computer applications Friendly and engaging personality with a strong ability to connect with children and families   Personal Attributes: Collaborative spirit and willingness to work as a team Passion for working with children with special needs  Patient with the ability to redirect clients frequently and compassionately  Accountable for personal behavior and performance Receptive to feedback with a commitment to personal and professional development Consistency and reliability to ensure continuity of care    Work Environment and Physical Demands: Ability to learn and implement de-escalation skills for client sessions Ability to lift or carry 30 lbs Ability to work in a variety of positions, including on the floor during played-based therapy    Travel Requirements Occasional travel to Westside Children's Therapy clinics to provide client coverage as requested/needed   Schedule: Monday through Friday 3 - 7 pm and Saturdays from 8 am - 2 pm
