About the role
Description The Program Manager will lead cross functional teams and technology investments that modernize the organization’s data ecosystem and elevate patient facing digital experiences. This role oversees data & analytics initiatives, enterprise data platform modernization, and AI driven capabilities that enable more personalized, proactive, and efficient care. The Digital Program Manager drives strategy, execution, and governance across multiple programs, ensuring alignment with enterprise digital health goals, regulatory requirements, and clinical/business outcomes. Responsibilities include orchestrating complex roadmaps, managing budgets and resources, guiding technical and business stakeholders, and ensuring delivery excellence across cloud data platforms, advanced analytics, automation, AI models, and patient experience technologies. DESIRED ATTRIBUTES • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience with Project/Program Management responsibility related to the healthcare systems (Preferred) • Fluency with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, etc... • Data & Analytics Leadership — Demonstrated experience leading enterprise analytics programs, including data governance, data quality, and self service analytics adoption. • AI & Automation Strategy — Ability to translate business and clinical needs into AI/ML use cases, evaluate feasibility, and guide responsible AI implementation. • Data Platform Modernization — Hands on experience with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred), data lakehouse architectures, and modernization of legacy data systems. • Digital Patient Experience — Understanding of patient facing digital tools (portals, mobile apps, virtual care, personalization engines) and how data/AI enhance them. • Product Oriented Delivery — Skilled in iterative delivery models, digital product roadmapping, and value based prioritization. • Cross Functional Influence — Proven ability to influence clinicians, executives, engineers, and operational leaders without direct authority. • Cloud & Integration Knowledge — Familiarity with APIs, FHIR, interoperability standards, and cloud-native architectures supporting digital health ecosystems. • Advanced Communication Skills — Ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear narratives for leadership and non technical stakeholders. • Human Centered Design Mindset — Commitment to designing digital experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with patient needs. • Risk & Compliance Awareness — Understanding of HIPAA, data privacy, AI governance, and responsible data stewardship. • Change Leadership — Experience driving organizational adoption of new digital capabilities, analytics tools, and AI enabled workflows. • Resource & Vendor Management — Skilled in managing hybrid teams, external partners, and complex multi vendor ecosystems. • Outcome Driven Mindset — Focus on measurable improvements in patient experience, operational efficiency, and clinical decision support. Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $85.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
