Requisition ID: 78412 Description We seek an experienced Product Line Manager(PLM) to join the fast-growing timing solutions business unit. In this role you will be responsible for product lifecycle management of Skyworks’ fast growing portfolio of Jitter Attenuating Clocks, including product ownership and roadmap strategy. You will contribute to roadmap product definition, develop and present business cases for NPI projects, develop outbound product marketing collateral and product positioning, and drive new customer opportunity demand creation with sales teams and customers globally. The right candidate will balance strategic outbound marketing initiatives with hands-on collaboration among the cross-functional product development team to accelerate new product introduction, customer engagement and revenue growth. Responsibilities Product Management & Strategy Contribute to product roadmap development and business case creation aligned with growth opportunities in data center infrastructure, optical networking, telecommunications, and industrial markets. Collaborate with engineering teams to translate customer requirements into a market requirements document. Own product lifecycle management from concept through end-of-life Support pricing strategy, business models, and competitive positioning Go-to-Market Strategy & Product Marketing Develop compelling product positioning, messaging, and value propositions Create sales enablement materials including presentations, competitive analyses, product collateral, application notes, and sales training content. Own product launch deliverables Analyze market adoption, customer feedback and competitive trends to improve product positioning and drive commercial success. Track competitor products and develop positioning Customer & Market Engagement Partner with global sales and field application engineering teams to outline customer engagement strategy, develop opportunity funnels in target markets, and drive opportunity to design-win conversion Engage with customers and prospects to understand application requirements, identify new opportunities, and position Skyworks timing products for adoption. Support key customer design-ins through technical presentations, both virtually and in person. Cross-Functional Leadership Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, quality, sales, and executive leadership teams to drive successful product outcomes. Present market trends, business updates, and product recommendations to internal stakeholders including the leadership team. Required Experience and Skills BS + 12, MS + 8, PhD+ 5 years of experience in semiconductor product management, product marketing, technical marketing, sales, field applications, or related customer-facing roles Track record of working with customers in data center infrastructure, core/metro optical networking, and/or wireless infrastructure Strong understanding of semiconductor product development, manufacturing, and product lifecycle management processes Ability to read datasheets, understand technical specifications, and engage in technical discussions Familiarity with market analysis (TAM/SAM/SOM modeling), competitive positioning, business case development and go-to-market are a plus Problem-solving mindset: Natural ability to break down complex challenges, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions Communication excellence: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with ability to tailor messaging for a diverse set of audiences (executives, engineers, sales teams, customers) Strong interpersonal communication skills, both internally with cross-functional teams and externally with customers Results orientation: Self-starting attitude with strong bias for action and accountability for outcomes Creativity: Ability to develop innovative approaches to customer engagement, competitive positioning, and sales enablement Collaboration: Works effectively across functions including sales, engineering, operations, and executive leadership Business acumen: Understanding of P&L dynamics, market segmentation, and value-based pricing Desired Experience and Skills Experience with, or managing, timing products: clock generators, jitter attenuators, or network synchronizers Experience working with telecommunications equipment suppliers, cloud service providers, and data center AI compute OEMs Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments Positive attitude that inspires teams and drives momentum Balance of business acumen with technical background Comfortable with ambiguity and able to navigate competing priorities Willingness to travel (up to 25%) to meet with customers, attend trade shows, and support sales initiatives The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $129,400 - $247,800 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
