What You Can Expect The Procurement Principal Analyst will play a critical role in optimizing procurement strategies, supplier performance, and cost efficiency across the organization. This position combines deep analytical expertise with strategic procurement insight to drive value, mitigate risk, and support business growth. The Procurement Principal Analyst will also be responsible for the collection, review, analysis, and reporting of procurement data in support of project management, savings initiatives, and continuous improvement activities. How You'll Create Impact Lead or support Procurement transformation projects and systems implementation. Lead and coordinate projects including project development, communications, meetings, tracking, and reporting. Lead and execute on assigned projects with limited oversight. Lead complex spend analysis across categories to identify cost-saving opportunities and sourcing efficiencies. Develop and automate analytics based on available data sources to support projects and general decision making. Build dashboards and models to forecast procurement trends, risks, and savings. Evaluate supplier performance using KPIs and scorecards. Support supplier negotiations, onboarding, and compliance monitoring.  Support requests for quotation (RFQ) for a variety of services and products. Support contract development, renewals, and amendments. Prepare reports, presentations, business communications, data summaries, and other documents of both a recurring and nonrecurring nature. Create reports to show financial impact of procurement projects and initiatives. Perform moderately complex analyses of data to draw inferences or conclusions to drive sound decisions. Identify and define procurement best practices both within and external to Zimmer Biomet and ensure that those best practices are widely adopted within the company. Collaborate actively with key stakeholders to ensure Procurement is actively engaged at the beginning of the process in core business initiatives and processes. Maintain a working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations as well as any internal policies or procedures to ensure that the behavior exhibited by the organization is honest, ethical, and professional. Partner with other functions to ensure compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments What Makes You Stand Out Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail to keep accurate records and organize information effectively and efficiently. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Demonstrated history of taking initiative, meeting commitments, and assisting in the creation of new tools or solutions to achieve business results. Proven track record of effective process management and improvement. Ability to tolerate ambiguity, handle multiple priorities, and identify creative solutions to problems. Financial acumen with a solid understanding of common financial statements. High level of personal accountability and integrity. Energetic and driven to successfully reach objectives. Proficient with and/or the ability to quickly learn Zimmer Biomet’s systems. Knowledge of functional best practices, industry trends, legal and regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies. Your Background Bachelor's degree and 6 years relevant experience, or Associate's degree and 8 years relevant experience, or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred). At least four years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain analytics required with a minimum Bachelor’s level of education. Experience managing and successfully delivering projects. Understanding of procurement best practices, contract law, and supplier risk management. Prior exposure to handling tabular data and databases. Professional, related certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS, PMP). LEAN Manufacturing (Preferred) Six Sigma (Preferred) The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 with an adding yearly bonus  Physical Requirements Travel Expectations Up to 20% EOE
