About the role

Intuit is investing in strategic workforce planning: connecting business strategy, financial planning, and talent decisions into one system, so we build the workforce our future requires — the right skills, in the right places, at the right time. This role sits at the heart of that system: shaping the integrated workforce planning process that runs across Finance and HR, while working across the business to translate strategy into actionable workforce plans. From financial envelope to targets, to workforce plans, to in-year tracking and governance — you will help design the end-to-end system, establish the standards that hold it together, and lead strategic workforce planning across the business. You will combine enterprise process leadership with hands-on business partnership. The system you help design and steward becomes how Intuit plans its workforce. Responsibilities The end-to-end process design. Shape and continuously improve the integrated workforce planning process as one connected flow — the handoffs, the sequence, and the process specifications the system runs on. The standards. Common planning definitions; one complete, integrated communication of financial, headcount, and workforce targets; workforce plans that reconcile both financially and against the business's workforce strategy; clear rules for how targets update when plans change — and deliberate choices about what stays local, so standards enable the business rather than burden it. The design and improvement motion. Lead the recurring cycle of process work: current-state assessment, co-design with Finance and HR practitioners, validation across business units, and executive ratification — with each improvement proven in the next live planning cycle. You run working sessions that produce decisions, and you hold the pen on what's agreed. The business partnership. Work across the business to translate strategy into workforce implications — the skills, roles, capacity, workforce shape, and locations required — and build actionable plans to address the gaps. You bring strategic workforce planning expertise, challenge assumptions, and help teams make clear choices. The strategy connection. Ensure each business area's workforce strategy enters target setting and plan build, so plans deliver the workforce the business needs, not only what the budget allows. The operating cadence. Lead the planning calendar, cycle reviews, and executive steering readouts — with automation and AI designed into every process from the start, so the system gets more intelligent each cycle. Qualifications 8+ years of experience across strategic workforce planning, workforce strategy, financial planning and analysis, or enterprise planning. Strategic workforce planning expertise: translating business strategy into workforce demand, assessing supply and gaps, developing scenarios, and identifying the actions required to build the workforce the business needs. Process architecture, decision facilitation, business partnership, and change leadership craft. Strong data instincts and an AI-first orientation: comfortable defining metrics, assessing variances, building workforce scenarios, and codifying what you design so it can be automated. Executive-grade communication: you can frame a strategic workforce question for senior executives across Finance, HR, and the business. Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach.
