POSITION:  Preschool Teacher Assistant (aka Early Education Classroom Engagement Support) LOCATION:  Head Start/ Early Head Start 700 Jupiter Ave, Salina KS TERM:  40hrs/week School Year positions work 7:30a - 4:00p (with a 30 minute lunch break) PAY STARTING AT:  $17.06/hr (require: high school diploma/no experience) $18.13/hr (must have CDA credential) $19.22/hr (must have AA Degree in Early Childhood) Pay increase AND $500 pay incentive after obtaining CDA.   REQUIREMENTS:   High School Diploma or equivalent. CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or a related degree required. If you do not have the CDA, you must be willing to obtain it during employment, therefore we will train the right person! Experience working in a preschool classroom and/or childcare center is preferred, but most of all you must enjoy working with young children!   DUTIES:     Duties include assisting young children with various activities and providing direction and guidance in a learning based environment.
