About the role
Overview Milton CAT is seeking a motivated Parts and Sales Representative to join our Power & Energy team. This field-based position is ideal for a customer-focused sales professional who enjoys building relationships, solving equipment challenges, and helping customers keep their operations running at peak performance. As a Parts and Sales Representative, you will serve as the primary liaison between Milton CAT and customers throughout your assigned territory. You will help customers reduce operating costs, minimize equipment downtime, and maximize productivity by recommending Caterpillar parts, preventative maintenance programs, and repair solutions. Join a team dedicated to providing customers with the parts, service, and expertise they need to keep their equipment operating efficiently. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to build lasting customer relationships while contributing directly to customer success and business growth. Salary Range: $60,000-$120,000; base plus bonus structure based on performance. Manage and grow sales within an assigned territory. Identify customer equipment needs and recommend appropriate parts and service solutions. Promote Caterpillar parts, preventative maintenance, and repair products and services. Work closely with customers to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability. Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and Milton CAT. Identify new sales opportunities and grow existing accounts. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customers receive timely, effective solutions. Stay knowledgeable about Caterpillar products, parts, and service offerings. Qualifications Sales, customer service, equipment, parts, or related industry experience preferred. High school diploma required; associate degree or trade certification preferred. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based role. Ability to understand customer needs and recommend practical solutions. Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills. Mechanical or power generation knowledge is a plus.
