Simpson Rehabilitation Hospital A UPMC and Select Medical Partnership Position: Pharmacist Location: inside UPMC West Shore Schedule: Per Diem, 1 weekend per month, week day opportunities available as well. Providing clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast paced environment. Maintaining adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times. Correctly informing and instructing patients on any drugs to be used after they are discharged. Developing and participating in new employee training and education programs. Participating in patient drug therapy monitoring. Promoting an environment of continuous quality improvement. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Requires successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure. Current State licensure required. BLS if required by State. Preferred Qualifications  Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of hospital pharmacy residency. *Post offer employment testing (POETs) are completed as part of the onboarding process and are to be completed before an employee's first day of work.* Additional Data We have six hospitals in Central PA and our teams work closely together to provide exceptional care to our patients: Please let us know if you are interested in more than one location!
