Description Boston College seeks applications for an Open Rank (Tenured or Tenure-Track) Faculty Position in the Seidner Department of Finance beginning fall 2027. Qualifications Candidates should have their doctoral dissertation (in finance or related discipline) completed or near completion and show promise or evidence of significant scholarship and teaching ability at the graduate and undergraduate level. Particular areas of research include, but are not limited to, Market Efficiency, Liquidity, Asset Pricing, Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance, International Financial Markets, Banking, or Consumer Finance. Responsibilities of this position may include: advising and supervising students, serving on various departmental committees, participating in the development of departmental programs and courses, and organizing and participating in department seminars. The expected 9-month base salary ranges (paid over 12 months) for an Assistant Professor position is $200,000-$295,000; for an Associate Professor is $225,000-$350,000, and for a Professor is $260,000-$410,000. The actual pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as, but not limited to, candidate qualifications and prior experience, scope of responsibilities, internal equity, and market considerations.
