To get to know us better, please visit our website for the most current happenings in our amazing and diverse district:   Middle School Language Arts Teacher - Replacement Position available:  Thompson Middle School - 8/27/2026 - 12/31/2026   Requirements and Qualifications: Appropriate NJ DOE Instructional Certificate required (ie English, Elementary with Subject Matter Specialization: Language Arts Literacy Grade 5-8) Dual certification in Special Education preferred Working knowledge of NJ Student Learning Standards for English High-level skills in the collection of data and anecdotal notes to provide evidence of student growth and to determine specific needs to guide differentiated and targeted instruction to meet the needs of all learners Knowledge of research and responsive practices in the English/Language Arts Knowledge of Google for Education Experience integrating technology to enhance instruction Knowledge/evidence of implementation of responsive practices for supporting and inclusive environment and opportunities for students Knowledge of Least Restrictive Environment regulations    The Middletown Township School District offers a competitive salary and benefits package.   Terms of Employment: Salary range $60,673 - $87,673 Terms and benefits per MTEA collective bargaining agreement:  Click here for summary of salary and benefits   You must fill out the online application to be considered for this position.  We do not accept paper resumes, paper applications, faxes or emails.
