Medical Lab Technician - Per Diem

Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Medical Lab Technician to join our team on a Per-Diem basis. The Medical Lab Technician is responsible for specimen collection, analysis, and reporting of clinical laboratory results in accordance with established standards. Essential Functions: Collection of blood and other specimens from adult, pediatric, and infant patients in accordance with hospital procedures Performs clerical duties for the Laboratory Performs skilled laboratory procedures, operates all equipment, and reports results in accordance with established policies and procedures Participates in the implementation of the quality assurance programs Ability to lift 25 lbs. Position Requirements: Required Education: Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technician Licensure: Current MLT, CLT, ASCP Certification Certification: Current BLS at hire Computer Competency: Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position.
