Create a supportive, orderly classroom where every student can thrive, both on-site and off-site. Use data and assessments to guide instruction and drive high standards of achievement for all students. Differentiate instruction for individuals and groups, reflecting the full range of student abilities and needs. Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues, and collaborate with staff to improve student learning. Bring real-world relevance to the classroom, helping students apply what they learn to solve real problems. Adapt and enrich the curriculum with technology and creative strategies that keep students engaged. Provide opportunities for student growth outside the classroom, such as student organizations, physical activities, and service learning. Keep accurate, confidential student records, including grades, attendance, and behavior. Take part in the school community attending meetings and contributing to school-wide decisions on policies, programs, and teaching practices. What You'll Need Valid Active Teacher License issues by the State, in the appropriate subject area (A substitute teaching license will not meet this requirement, but will be reviewed).  Bachelor's degree in Education. A passion for improving educational opportunities for urban students. Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills. Comfort using technology to support and engage students.
