This role ensures departmental compliance with regulatory standards, maintains a safe and clean environment for patients, residents, and staff, and supports the implementation of operational goals. The Manager leads front-line supervisors and associates, ensures quality service delivery, and assists and supports the Director in strategic planning, reporting, and departmental initiatives.   Salary: $65,000.00+   Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a salaried exempt leadership position. Extended hours may be necessary based on operational needs.   Essential Functions and Duties Supervise and support EVS supervisors, technicians, and laundry staff. Oversee laundry operations, including staffing, workflow, equipment, and infection prevention practices. Ensure compliance with OSHA, CMS, TJC, and other applicable regulations. Develop and monitor departmental schedules, assignments, and productivity standards. Conduct regular inspections and quality audits of patient/resident areas, public spaces, and laundry operations. Manage departmental inventory, equipment maintenance, and supply orders. Implement performance metrics and track KPIs for operational efficiency and service quality. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support infection prevention, patient satisfaction, and safety initiatives. Support the Director in preparing reports, evaluating departmental performance, and implementing new programs or initiatives.   General Responsibility as Required for Position Responsible for acting in conformance with all facility and departmental policies and procedures including those relating to Human Resources, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Health and Safety regulations, Compliance requirements, Patient Rights, Confidentiality, and HIPAA. Responsible for acting in conformance with accrediting agency standards. Attends department meetings as required. Demonstrates accountability to accept responsibility for personal/professional growth and any required certification/licenses, if applicable. Qualifications Education/Experience/Training High School diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in EVS, healthcare, or hospitality operations. Knowledge of regulatory compliance, infection prevention, and safety standards. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Experience managing budgets, schedules, and performance metrics. License and Certification N/A
