Maintenance Technician

About the role

Maintenance Technician Souderton, PA Hourly Rate based on experience (plus $1 differential) Will discuss at initial phone screen 2nd and 3rd Shifts Responsibilities: Support injection molding and automated assembly equipment through troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance. You will work closely with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to reduce downtime, improve equipment performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives. • Troubleshoot and repair injection molding and high speed automated assembly equipment • Support machine changeovers and setup activities as needed • Perform breakdown and emergency repairs to restore production quickly and safely • Execute Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks, inspections, and routine preventive maintenance • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment • Follow all safety, SQF, GMP, and plant policies • Support food safety and quality standards through proper maintenance practices • Report safety concerns, near misses, and equipment risks promptly • Work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to meet uptime and quality targets • Participate in Lean, CI, and reliability improvement projects as schedule allows • Enter and track maintenance work orders and equipment history in the CMMS • Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory for production equipment • Support molding operations as workload and schedule require • Provide shift coverage, including nights, weekends, and emergency call ins when needed • Support training and knowledge sharing with new and existing team members • Perform other maintenance related duties as assigned Requirements • 2+ years of injection molding maintenance experience, including hot runner systems • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience • Experience with high speed automated manufacturing equipment • Experience installing and setting up high cavity injection molds (100–500 ton presses) • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings • Basic computer skills and experience using maintenance systems • Self motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety • Experience with advanced hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems • Experience with automation, conveyors, box loading/counting equipment, and PLCs • Six Sigma or Lean experience or certification • Bi axial blow molding or similar manufacturing background • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and work in industrial environments for extended periods
