Summary of Position: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Control Associate to support accurate inventory records, cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and daily warehouse inventory processes. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, comfortable working in a warehouse environment, and committed to maintaining inventory accuracy across receiving, storage, picking, and shipping activities. Responsibilities Perform daily inventory checks, cycle counts, and location audits to ensure accurate stock levels. Research and resolve inventory discrepancies by reviewing transactions, physical counts, receiving records, shipping activity, and warehouse movement. Maintain accurate inventory records in warehouse management, ERP, or inventory tracking systems. Assist with inbound receiving and outbound, put-away verification, stock transfers, and inventory adjustments. Identify damaged, short-dated, misplaced, or mislabeled product and report issues to leadership. Support physical inventory counts, count preparation, recounts, and reconciliation activities. Communicate inventory issues clearly with warehouse, purchasing, customer service, and operations teams. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and accurate inventory area. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous warehouse, inventory, receiving, shipping, or cycle counting experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors or discrepancies. Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory systems, scanners, or Microsoft Excel. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift as required in a warehouse environment. Must be comfortable working both independently and in a team environment. Reliability is a must.  Reliable attendance, punctuality, and consistent follow-through are required. Must be available to work Saturdays. Work Environment: Must be highly comfortable standing for long periods in consistently cold climates of 35º or lower, wet, and odorous environments. Experience using RF scanners, barcode systems, or warehouse management systems. Forklift or pallet jack experience, if applicable. Experience with inventory adjustments, lot tracking, FIFO practices, or reconciliation reports. Ability to communicate professionally with team members and supervisors. A combination of the above will also be considered. Physical Demands: Physical demands may include bending, sitting, lifting, and standing based on the needs of the business.  Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.  Standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time may be required, up to 100% of the shift or during overtime.
