Intern - Golf Operations

About the role

The rate of pay is $12/hr + variable income from commission, lessons, etc. We are looking for candidates who are pursuing a PGA Golf Management or Sports Management degree. The goal of our program is to provide each student with a unique learning experience. During an internship at Reynolds Lake Oconee, you will be exposed to the different facets of a multi course operation. Each intern will be assigned to a “home” course. Internship Students will be exposed to all aspects of golf operation, depending on what level of internship this will include: Maintenance Retail Group Golf Tournament Director Food & Beverage Accounting Human Resources Kingdom of Golf Taylor Made Performance Lab Reynolds Lake Oconee Golf Operations Internship Students will also attend 1 or 2 seminars, these include: Career Advancement-HP’s & VP Leadership—Senior Management Responsibilities—Level I and II Outside Operations Tournament/Corporate Event Facilitation Par Stock Level Reporting Visual Merchandising Junior Clinics Responsibilities—Level III Supply Levels Opening & Closing Procedures Maintaining Log Books Rental Club Procedures Outside Operations Tournament/Corporate Event Facilitation Par Stock Level Reporting Visual Merchandising PGA-PGM Education Reynolds Lake Oconee will assist with the completion of work experiences through goal setting, study groups and individual meetings.
