Description: 183 day working calendar Hours Per Day: 5.5  Shift: TBD at this time. Shift subject to change. Location: Redmond Elementary (located within the Redmond Learning Community) Employees International Union (SEIU) Collective Bargaining Agreement transfer process outlined in Section 15.9.  During the peak hiring months of August and September, vacancies will be posted to internal and external candidates.  The internal posting will close on 9/17/26. Interested employees must submit an Internal Application. To be eligible for transfer, employees must meet the posted qualifications and have been in their current position for at least six (6) months. Qualified applicants will be contacted directly.  If no internal candidates are selected for transfer, external candidates will be considered.  Hourly Rate: $27.71/an hour ( SC11SEIU26-27.pdf ) Position is eligible for membership in the Service International Employees Union No. 925 Job Summary: Assists teaching staff by completing instructional tasks and maintaining an orderly classroom to provide a positive learning environment. May be assigned to classroom, lunchroom, library, before or after school academic programs, or office. At elementary level, assignment includes crossing guard and playground duties. May be assigned to an individual student or work with entire classroom. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: •  Must be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. Must hold an Associate degree (AA) or higher OR have completed two years of study equivalent to 72 college quarter credit hours, OR have passed an Educational Testing Service ParaPro Assessment documenting a score of 455 or higher, OR have passed the Pearson Paraprofessional Assessment with a score of 220 or higher.
