STUDENT PROGRAM FORMAT   This student program will follow a n in-person model. Students will be based at a Stellantis manufacturing facility in the Metro-Detroi t area and are expected to work on-site 3 to 5 days per week, depending on business needs. Students are expected to work 24 hours per week, during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. Candidates who are selected for the program will work with their manager to determine a consistent weekly work schedule where candidates fulfill the 24-hour requirement, while balancing their class schedule. During the summer months, student employees may potentially work 40 hours per week. This determination will be at management’s discretion. Applications are accepte d year-round, and s tudent program cohorts start on a quarterly basis in January, April, June, and September, and students are intended to stay in the program until graduation.     STELLANTIS STUDENT PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS   The Stellantis Student Program offers a unique alternative to traditional summer internships by providing students with the opportunity to work year-round throughout their academic journey. As they progress through the program, students are empowered to take on increasing levels of responsibility, gaining valuable experience, and making meaningful contributions along the way.    Students will be assigned to a department based on the candidate's background and skill set. The assignments are project-oriented, meaningful to the department, and allow the student to provide valuable contributions. This role is ideal for students interested in employee relations, onboarding, and HR operations within a unionized setting.     Key responsibilities:   Assist with day-to-day employment office functions, including leave tracking, reinstatements, and employee inquiries.   Support onboarding and orientation sessions for new hourly employees.   Help maintain accurate employee records and documentation.   Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and plant culture-building efforts.   Assist in the administration of national and local collective bargaining agreements.   Collaborate with HR and operations teams to ensure a positive employee experience.   Qualifications Basic Qualifications:    Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field from an accredited college or university   Willing to work in a manufacturing environment   Ability to work 24 hours per week, year-round       Preferred Qualifications:    Strong interest in employee relations, HR operations, and workforce planning   Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)   Exposure to or coursework in employment law, HR management, or organizational behavior   Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment   Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-service mindset   Experience working in a team setting or supporting administrative processes   Stellantis At Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
