About the role
A Brief Overview Hunt Companies Business Services is looking for a Financial Analyst who is responsible for maintaining financial models and forecasts of earnings, liquidity, and value to inform the business. What you will do Assist/prepare budget and forecasting deliverables utilizing planning, analysis, and modeling skills. Perform performance reporting and forecasting. Help maintain the company’s reporting infrastructure. Support quarterly and annual valuations and external audit reviews with third-party servicers. Provide support to the company’s Financial Planning and Analysis teams on matters related to forecasts, budgets, fair values, derivatives, and public/private equity investments. Support the development, testing, and preparation of the annual operating budget and multi-year plans. Provide policy compliance monitoring for derivative and/or valuation policies. Perform ad-hoc analysis in support of management decision making. Balance conflicting resource and priority demands, while meeting deadlines. Pursue self-improvement in technical and management skills. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related and 2 years of experience in job offered or a related financial planning and/or operational analysis role. Must have the following experience: (1) Financial Modeling using discounted cash flows, leveraged buyout scenarios, intrinsic stock valuation, and/or binomial tree methodologies; (2) Budget Preparation and Forecasting presented on a trailing twelve months, actualized, and 36-month forward projection across various legal entities and portfolio allocations; (3) Performance Reporting and Forecasting using sensitivity scenarios and aggregation of large financial data sets; (4) Valuations of complex, dynamic legal and economic ownership interests in lines of business, real estate, and derivative investments on a quarterly basis to include impacts on a pre-tax and after-tax basis; (5) External Audit Support by manually calculating in Excel the credit valuation adjustment price to hedge counterparty credit risks of derivative instruments; and (6) Migration of complex financial models from Microsoft Access databases to Microsoft Fabric using SQL and Power Apps EEO/ADA The Company and its affiliates provides equal employment opportunity to all individuals regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by state, federal, or local law.
