This role is responsible for month end close, analyzing profit and loss accounts, leading and coaching a team, and improving processes across the accounting department. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TASKS ·         Month end Close responsibilities o    Calculate and post and/or review journals related to: §   Revenue §   Recurring Expenses §   Accounts Payable §   Accounts Receivable o    Collaborate with Finance to prepare monthly allocations for cross-utilized contracts o    Collaborate with Operations, Finance, IT, Fixed Assets, and Accounts Payable teams to align and control transaction coding ·         Analyze Profit & Loss Accounts for missing items and for unusual activity o    Perform monthly reviews of key/volatile expense accounts that lead to timely reclassifications, accruals, and/or Pass-Through Billing o    Complete Ad hoc projects to help enhance Financial Reporting integrity ·         Develop and coach off-shore team of 5-6 people ·         Develop documented and efficient processes and controls     QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & ABILITIES 4+ years of financial management/accounting experience BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics (Masters is a plus) Exceptional high technical skills with a required proficiency in excel and PowerPoint Strong communicator Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas) Familiarity with databases, SQL, and advanced modeling Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts Familiarity with PowerBi is a plus Relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus " Unifi is committed to equal opportunity employment regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability or veteran status."
