Field Service Specialist 📍 Greater Chicago, Illinois Area  / Remote-Field Based Metrohm USA delivers technical solutions, trusted partnerships, and tangible results. Join us! We’re currently seeking a Field Service Specialist to support our customers across, but not limited to, parts of Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. 🔬  What You’ll Do As a Metrohm Field Service Specialist, you’ll be the face of our Service team—providing technical support and on-site service that keeps our customers’ instruments running at peak performance. Perform installations, repairs, calibrations, certifications, preventive maintenance, and refresher training for benchtop analytical systems. Support customers both on-site and remotely (via phone, email, Teams). Manage a dynamic schedule across the territory. Build strong customer relationships through expert service and communication. Collaborate with Sales, Customer Support, and Product teams to deliver seamless customer experience. 📍  Territory This role supports customers across parts of Illinois, Indiana and western Michigan and will be based in the greater Chicago area. Candidates should be comfortable with frequent travel within the assigned territory and occasional travel outside the territory to support regional customer needs. ✅  What You Bring BS/BA in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline. 2–4 years of hands-on experience repairing laboratory instrumentation. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Strong time management and the ability to work independently. Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory and occasionally outside the territory in the South Region. 🌟  Bonus Points For: Previous experience traveling for field service work. Familiarity with process-based applications. Candidates with strong computer literacy and experience using common business or industry-specific software 🧪  Why Metrohm USA?
