Description ****DO NOT APPLY HERE****   +++To learn more about this position and to apply, please visit +++   Des cription   The Department of Chemistry at Emory University invites applications for a   teaching track professor (open rank) position   in Organic or Bio chemical/ Biophysical Chemistry to teaching both lecture and /or laboratory courses. The candidate will be appointed as Assistant Teaching Professor, Associate Teaching Professor, or Teach i ng Professor depending on qualifications and years of experience in a similar role. This is a career-track position with full faculty governance r ights and responsibilities, competitive salary and benefits, with potential for r egular term renewal and pro motion through the teaching track ranks. The e xpected start date is in the fall of 2027.   The candidate will join a cohesive group of tenure- (28) and teaching-track (7) faculty who teach in our innovative undergraduate curriculum, Chemistry Unbound ( ). Our faculty, staff, and students contribute to a thriving community of educators and scholars and seek colleagues who are dedicated to joining us in this mission.     Qualifications   Min i mu m quali fications: Comp le tion of a Ph.D. degree in or ganic chemistry, biochemistry, or biophysical chemistry is required at the start of the appointment.   Preferred Q uali fications:   Dem onstrated excellence in teaching undergraduate chemistry lecture and/or laboratory courses   Demonstrated commitment to working towards collective goals in a team setting   Experience i n evidence-based pedagogy and instruct ional creativity     Supervising and collaborating with graduate teaching assistants and undergraduate learning assistants     Application Instructions   A pplicants must apply online at: Review of applications will begin on Oc tober 15.
