We are seeking a professional who will be a member of our team supporting Federal government partners, including the Office of the Secretary of War. Our team conducts analyses that inform the development of policy and provides subject matter expertise in support of operational energy initiatives across the Department of War. As a DoW Energy Data Analyst on our team, you will support a number of efforts, including energy use analysis, energy resilience initiatives, policy development, and technology reviews for our clients. You may engage in other initiatives as well, such as strategy development, policy anaysis, and coordination with Department of War (DoW) components. Responsibilities: Analyze data in support of ongoing Department of War energy initiatives and provide evidence-based support for new energy initiatives. Support Congressional reports, programming and budgeting activities, and wargaming efforts with data collection and analysis Support energy innovation activities across multiple existing efforts. Provide options for ways to better collect data, including automated data collection. Provide program analysis as needed to justify policy and investment activities. Assist with energy supportability analyses and efforts to improve and train staff on energy supportability efforts. Provide analysis supporting the Energy Key Performance Parameter (KPP), including review of Energy Supportability Analyses and JCIDS requirements documentation. Review Initial Capabilities Documents (ICDs), Capability Development Documents (CDDs), acquisition strategies, and lifecycle sustainment documentation for alignment with operational energy requirements. Assess energy supportability, operational risk, and logistics capacity across defense acquisition programs and portfolios. Support the development and implementation of DoW policy, guidance, and acquisition decision-making related to Operational Energy. Provide systems engineering and analytical support to identify requirements, life cycle, sustainment, and operational energy risks affecting system capability. Collaborate with acquisition, engineering, logistics, requirements, and policy stakeholders to improve system readiness, resilience, and life cycle supportability. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, accounting, environmental science, energy policy, or other relevant fields 5+ years of relevant experience Experience analyzing Federal government related energy program or policy initiatives Presentation skills and experience presenting to technical and nontechnical audiences Experience in using spreadsheets, databases, or other data analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI) to perform data analysis U.S. Citizenship is required / Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance Desired Qualifications Advanced degree in engineering, accounting, environmental science, energy policy, public policy, or other relevant fields Knowledge of DoW Programming and Budget cycle Experience with DoW or Military Service Installation or Operational Energy offices Strong data analysis skills in Excel, Tableau, PowerBI and/or R DoW Secret clearance Overview Overview Noblis and our wholly owned subsidiaries, Noblis ESI and Noblis MSD, take on some of the nation’s toughest challenges, delivering advanced solutions to our customers’ most critical missions. Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package. Posted Salary Range USD $71,800.00 - USD $112,150.00 /Yr.
