About the role

Accruent is a global leader in intelligent assets, facilities, and real estate management software, helping organizations connect their physical world to their digital future. Our solutions support mission-critical operations for thousands of customers worldwide. Backed by Fortive (NYSE: FTV), we combine the agility of a SaaS innovator with the scale, discipline, and continuous improvement mindset of an established global enterprise.  Position Overview We are seeking a Director of Product Management to help shape and execute the product strategy for Accruent's Asset Solutions Group. Reporting directly to the General Manager, Asset Solutions Group, and working in close alignment with the Chief Product & Technology Officer, Engineering leadership, and Marketing leadership, this role will translate business priorities into product direction, roadmap decisions, and measurable customer and commercial outcomes.  Initially, this leader will be responsible for Accruent's Maintenance Management and Mobile Workforce Management product portfolios, partnering closely with Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to drive customer value, adoption, retention, and growth. The role will collaborate with the General Manager to help define product strategy, evaluate market opportunities, prioritize investments, and ensure execution remains aligned with business objectives. Over time, the role will have the opportunity to expand its influence across additional Asset Solutions Group offerings, including Engineering Document Management Solutions.  This role serves as a key strategic partner to the General Manager, helping shape product strategy and ensuring execution aligns with business priorities. The Sr. Director will lead a team of Product Managers responsible for the Maintenance and Field product portfolios, balancing customer needs, market opportunities, technical investments, and commercial outcomes. Success in this role requires strong leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to align cross-functional stakeholders around a clear product direction.  What You'll Do Product Strategy & Portfolio Leadership: Partner with the General Manager to help define and evolve the product strategy for the Maintenance and Field product portfolios. Translate business priorities into clear product direction, investment recommendations, and roadmap decisions grounded in customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive differentiation. Roadmap & Investment Management: Lead the development and execution of portfolio roadmaps that balance innovation, modernization, technical debt, customer commitments, and commercial outcomes. Establish clear decision frameworks and ensure resources are focused on the highest-value opportunities. Product Leadership & Team Development: Lead, coach, and develop a global team of Product Managers. Create a high-performance culture grounded in customer focus, accountability, collaboration, strong product judgment, and data-driven decision making. Customer & Market Insight: Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows, business challenges, buying behavior, and industry trends. Use direct customer engagement, partner feedback, win/loss analysis, market research, competitive intelligence, and product data to inform strategy and investment decisions. Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with the Chief Product & Technology Officer, Engineering leadership, Marketing leadership, Sales, Customer Success, Services, and Support to align product priorities, technical investments, delivery plans, and go-to-market execution. Commercial Outcomes & Go-to-Market Partnership: Ensure product strategy supports measurable improvements in customer value, adoption, retention, growth, and expansion. Partner on market positioning, packaging, product launches, migration strategies, and customer communication. Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the lifecycle of products from strategic planning through delivery, adoption, optimization, modernization, and end-of-life decisions. Balance short-term customer needs with long-term portfolio objectives. Executive Communication: Present product direction, investment recommendations, roadmap decisions, portfolio performance, and key trade-offs to executive leadership in a clear, concise, and business-focused manner.   What Success Looks Like Strong Strategic Alignment: Product direction and execution for Maintenance and Field are clearly aligned with Asset Solutions Group business priorities. Focused, Outcome-Based Roadmaps: Roadmaps are driven by measurable customer and business outcomes rather than feature volume, with explicit priorities and trade-offs. Improved Customer & Business Results: Product decisions contribute to stronger adoption, retention, customer value, and growth. High-Performing Product Team: Product Managers operate with clear accountability, strong customer engagement, commercial awareness, and disciplined execution. Strong Cross-Functional Partnerships: Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Services, and Support are aligned around common priorities and shared outcomes. Organizational Trust & Credibility: Executive leadership looks to Product Management for sound judgment, evidence-based recommendations, and reliable execution.   What You Bring Product Leadership Experience: 10+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software, including 5+ years leading Product Managers and developing product teams. Strategic Thinking: The ability to connect customer needs, market dynamics, technology investments, and business goals into clear product direction and actionable roadmaps. Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of SaaS business models and the drivers of growth, retention, expansion, and customer value. Customer & Market Orientation: A proven track record of incorporating customer feedback, market analysis, competitive intelligence, and product data into strategic decisions. Leadership & Influence: The ability to influence across organizational boundaries, align executive stakeholders, and lead teams through complex decisions and change. Execution Discipline: Demonstrated ability to move effectively between strategic planning and operational execution, establish strong product operating mechanisms, and drive accountability. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.   Preferred Qualifications  Experience in maintenance management, field service management, asset management, facilities management, or related enterprise software markets.  Experience leading modernization initiatives or SaaS and cloud transformation programs.
