Behavioral Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - 13-Week Contract Location: Springfield, MO Shift Options: Day Shift: 10 positions (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) Evening Shift: 15 positions (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) Pay: $1,300 weekly gross Duration: 13-week contract Position Overview We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for a 13-week contract at an acute inpatient behavioral health facility in Springfield, MO. In this role, you will provide vital direct patient care across specialized units, supporting individuals of all ages—including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors—as they navigate acute stabilization, residential treatment, or detoxification. Key Responsibilities Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals across the lifespan (children ages 5+, adolescents, adults, and seniors). Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), vital sign monitoring, and routine behavioral health support. Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and structured environment in collaboration with multidisciplinary clinical teams. Complete accurate documentation utilizing paper charting systems. Requirements Qualifications & Requirements Certification: Active CNA certification. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent (within the last year) experience in a behavioral health or psychiatric setting. Charting: Documented experience with paper charting. Scheduling: Must be open to working with all age demographics (children, adolescents, adults, and seniors) and available to work every other weekend.
