BERGEN COUNTY SPECIAL SERVICES ANNOUNCEMENT:  POSITION OPENING The Board of Education is seeking applications for the 2026-2027 school year for the following position: BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST (10 Months � Non-certificated) District Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in education or social sciences; Master's degree preferred. Post-baccalaureate training in applied behavior analysis or comparable field preferred. Specialized training and/or demonstrate expertise in school based applied behavior analysis. Ability to conduct comprehensive formal and informal function behavior assessments. Experience working with students with autism/disabilities � preferred. Must be able to perform physical work, which requires frequent bending and lifting. Independently lift/carry up to 25 lbs., more than 25 lbs. with assistance.
