POSITION:                                                            Autism Mentor/Supervisory/Transportation Aide    DESCRIPTION:                                                  200-day contract                                                                              Employment date effective September 14, 2026     Other duties as assigned per the Director of Special Education and/or Building Level Administration   LOCATION:                                                          Tucker Valley Elementary Middle School     QUALIFICATIONS:    Holds a high school diploma or GED; holds or qualifies for "Aide III" classification; must hold or willing to obtain both Autism Mentor Certification and Registered Behavioral Technician      (RBT) Certification within 2 years; possess strong oral and written communication skills; holds valid CPR and first aid card, must be able to lift minimum of 50 pounds.    The aide employed for the purpose of working within the special education program will be required to ride the bus as needed; Assist the teacher in the classroom; Assist children with personal care needs and behavioral support needs; physically capable of lifting children in need of assistance; Supervise students with special needs; Medicaid billing, as needed;    SALARY:                                                               Salary based on experience and education level per TCBOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.
