Position Title: Assistant Director of Admissions Position Type: Full time Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Categories: Staff Exempt Job Summary: The Assistant Director of Admissions is a key member of the Office of Admissions team who independently manages recruitment, enrollment and territory responsibilities to support the University's strategic enrollment goals. This position requires strong professional judgment to plan and execute recruitment strategies, participate in application review, and engage with stakeholders. The Assistant Director leads and coordinates mid-level projects and initiatives, analyzes enrollment trends and outcomes and serves as a collaborative resource for colleagues on recruitment and operational matters. Job Duties: Reporting Relationships:   This role will report to the Associate Dean of Admissions, Campus Visits & Communications   Work Schedule:   This is a full-time role (40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year) Some evening and weekend work will be required, so the Assistant Director must be committed to working flexible hours to meet office needs Work Setting:   This is an on campus position What You Will Do: Manage territory, including all recruiting and yield activities, within designated geographic areas. This includes essential travel to participate in high school visits, college fairs and recruitment events as well as communication with a wide spectrum of constituencies including (but not limited to) prospective students, families, school counselors and community-based organizations. Conduct ongoing prospect management with potential Bucknell applicants and contribute to the holistic review and evaluation of applications. Support and oversee selection processes for designated merit and specialized scholarship programs. Responsible for the end-to-end and critical management of key enrollment, initiatives, programs, and projects designed to engage prospective students, their families and other constituents that advance enrollment strategy, multi-thousand-dollar budget oversight and programming development.  Contribute to the daily operation of the office, serving as Counselor of the Day, conducting group presentations and meeting with visitors.  The job description's listed responsibilities and tasks are not exhaustive, additional non-essential tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as needed. What You Will Bring: Required: Bachelor's degree  4 years in higher education or academic admissions/recruitment, financial aid, enrollment, and student advising Valid Driver's License Preferred, but not required: Master's degree  in Business Administration, Communications, Education, or related field of study Six (6) years in higher education or academic admissions/recruitment, financial aid, enrollment, and student advising Physical Requirements: Office environment/no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands. Job Exempt: Yes Salary Range: 44,600.00-55,750.00 The offer rate will be based on a review of the candidate's credentials compared to the qualifications of the position, internal equity, and our overall compensation philosophy.  This role is not budgeted for visa sponsorship, all candidates must be authorized to work in the US without a need for current or future visa sponsorship.
